With her second studio album, Caroline Polacheck has tapped into something existential and elemental. As her ingenious sound evolves to keep her at the vanguard of pop music's innovators, her writing turns inward, exploring her own anxieties and wistful desires. She creates a self-described constellation of songs that draw from and reference a myriad of experiences, works, and states of being.

Be it her soaring vocals or dynamic minimalist pop production, Polacheck has cemented her sound as being truly kinetic in nature, never static and continuing to transfigure itself with each passing record.
Highlights, including the surreal opener Welcome to My Island, along with tracks like Sunset, Fly to You, Pretty in Possible, Butterfly Net and the mystical closer Billions, condense a maelstrom of divergent thoughts and musings into a melancholy yet teeming body of work that speaks to life, death, doom, beauty and reconciling one's sentiments.
